Rogers WAM at The Plaza Skateboard Contest
Rogers WAM at The Plaza is an amateur skateboard competition returning for a second year August 14 -17, 2008 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada at one of the world¹s best skate plazas. WAM is a four day event that includes contest, parties, and exhibitions.
The Format:
WAM’s contest format will be a jam style with participants skating in heats of three skaters for a three minute (approx.) time period.
The Cash:
$15,000 total contest cash purse plus best trick contest.The Location:Located in downtown Winnipeg, The Plaza at The Forks is Canada¹s best and largest urban skate plaza and bowl complex.
